June in Labin and Rabac
Get to know the tradition of Labin at Petrova fest on the occasion of Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul. Since ancient times, this was the most important trade fair day in the year when traders from Istria and surrounding areas would meet at the town loggia. It was especially interesting that on that day many young men would buy an engagement ring for their girlfriend because the fair also gathered goldsmiths and jewellers. With folklore performances, local culture-artistic societies and young singing stars you can enjoy the Olive Oil Gallery presenting the best Labin area and Istrian olive growers and winemakers at the loggia. The peak of the night is the concert of the Croatian music diva Nina Badrić in the Old town main square, while the fierce and dazzling alternatives Kawasaki 3P will perform at Špina stage. Nina Badrić’s opening act is performed by Laguna Band.
