CRO Race returns to Labin!
Labin will be part of a major international cycling story again this year! For the fifth consecutive year, our town is the proud host of the finish line for one of the CRO Race stages.
On Thursday, September 24, 2026, the 3rd stage of the race will conclude in Labin, leading the world’s best cyclists from Krk to Labin along a demanding route approximately 175 kilometers long.
This year’s CRO Race has taken a major step forward by achieving the UCI ProSeries category – just one level below the world’s biggest races like the Tour de France and Giro d’Italia. 19 teams will be at the start, including as many as seven UCI WorldTeams and some of the biggest names in world cycling: UAE Team Emirates XRG, Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe, Lidl-Trek, and Bahrain Victorious.
During the six stages, cyclists will cover a total of 940 kilometers and tackle as much as 12,160 meters of elevation gain. The race is broadcast in 190 countries worldwide, with a potential technical reach of up to 1.574 billion households, providing Labin with exceptional international sports and tourism promotion once again.
We invite citizens and visitors to join us along the route and at the finish line to cheer on the top cyclists and contribute to the fantastic atmosphere!
The passage of the peloton takes only a few minutes, so roads will be temporarily closed approximately 10 to 15 minutes before the cyclists arrive. Traffic will be restored shortly after they pass.
The exact schedule, stage route, and detailed information will be published in due time.
