Cycling tour along the Bella Vista trail

Notice: The guided bike tour, originally scheduled for Saturday, March 29, will be moved to Sunday, March 30, 2025, due to the Epic Ride bike race, which was postponed to Saturday, March 29, 2025 due to bad weather.

On Sunday, March 30, 2025. The Tourist Board of the City of Labin and the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Raša, in cooperation with Bike4you (Bike Center Rabac), are organizing a guided cycling tour along the Bella Vista trail (Labin – Skitača – Labin).

GATHERING:
Gathering at 9:30 a.m. at the parking lot next to the city cemetery in the Old Town of Labin. Departure is at 10:00 a.m. from the aforementioned parking lot.

DESCRIPTION:

If you want to leave the city of art galleries, charming churches and baroque palaces and set off into the endless, unique views of Kvarner, rinsing your eyes with the healing tears of St. Lucia – join a guided cycling tour along the Bella Vista trail. From the parking lot, you head towards Kranjci , then continue along the white road through the Glušići mountain all the way to Skitača . This trail will take you to the highest point in the Labin region, from where you can enjoy the unique view of Kvarner .

After enjoying the unique sight, inhaling the penetrating scents of sage sprouting from the whiteness of the almost bare stone, you will continue on the peaks of the Skitača peninsula. After spending time at the Kalanica peninsula, you will return to Labin.

Upon arrival at Skitača (Kalanica Valley), you will find:

• Free tasting of Juričić Wine
• Free snack by OPG Forto (for lighter drinks, drink a glass of wine)
• Cookies

• Estimated event duration: approximately 4 hours
• Trail difficulty: demanding, e-bike recommended
• The length of the trail is 30 km.
• Bicycle helmet mandatory (Bike Center Rabac will provide free bicycle helmets for those who do not have one)

POSSIBILITY OF E-BIKE RENTAL: For all those who do not own an e-bike, Bike Center Rabac offers the possibility of renting a bike, which you can reserve when registering at the link below. All reserved bicycles will be delivered at the beginning of the bicycle tour. Payment on site at a promotional price of €20/person.

NOTE: participants of the cycling tour are required to follow the guide’s instructions and participate in the tour at their own risk. The guide reserves the right to change the itinerary in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
