🐟 Pescheria – a forgotten fisherman of the old town of Labin
Located in the heart of the Labin Old Town, Pescheria was once a lively place of a fisherman and locals meeting. Today, although she is no longer in fun, she has retained the charm of past times.
The plateau near the former fisherman (Pescherie) will become a pop-up jazz bar on an outdoor one evening, and except for ethno jazz tunes and contemporary art, visitors will be able to enjoy a unique sunset and a view of Podlabin.
Jazz with the soul of Croatia! 🌊🎶
The unique fusion of jazz and Croatian music heritage – Jazziana Croatica Quintet, led by the virtuoso of Borna Šercar, brings sounds moving the borders of the genres. Inspired by tradition, but to turn the future, these musicians combine improvisation, classic and folklore into a strong, emotional musical story.
Jazziana Croatica is the leader of an instrumental ethno jazz. The motto of the ensemble is to connect the Croatian melos with the American jazz fundus for the purpose of obtaining a musical content specific for this climate. Confirmation of the success of this conception are numerous performances around the world and awards (Porini, Franjo Dugan Award, HDS Award, etc.).
The ensemble was founded in 2009, and so far they have performed all over Croatia, in Zagreb, Rijeka, Vukovar, Koprivnica, Dubrovnik, Pula, Osijek, and were especially observed performances outside the country, in Vienna, Budapest, Trieste, Munich, Los Angeles, Paris, Milan.
