Free guided hike along the Bellavista Trail – a paradise for the eyes and soul

The Tourist Board of the City of Labin invites you on Saturday, November 22, 2025, to a free guided hike along the Bellavista Trail , which takes you from Rabac all the way to Ripenda Kosi and Standar. The hike will be led by guide Kristina Načinović Jakovčić in a different way, through stories and various interesting facts.
The gathering will take place on the new part of the Riva in Rabac from 8:30 to 9:00 am. The walk begins at 9:00 a.m., when participants will set off to discover the natural and historical beauties of one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the Labin area.
The Bellavista trail leads across the waterfront and the St. Andrew’s peninsula, through the village of Ripenda Kosi , all the way to the 474-meter-high Standar , from which there is a unique view of the sea, the islands of Cres and Lošinj, and on clear days, even the magnificent Velebit mountain.
On the Standara plateau, a special atmosphere is created by the old dry stone walls , silent guardians of the past that still inspire awe today, testifying to the life and work of the people who shaped the Istrian landscape for centuries.
Participants will be accompanied throughout the hike by the intoxicating scents of Mediterranean herbs , while on the horizon will alternate scenes of the blue sea and the mystical bell towers of the medieval towns of Labin, Pićan and Gračišće. The return from Standar leads via Ripenda Vicani towards Gornji Rabac and Rabac , making this circular route a perfect blend of natural beauty, history and peace.

The trail is suitable for anyone who has no walking problems, including children who can keep up with adults. We recommend walking shoes, layered clothing, walking poles. Food and water from a backpack. If you are taking your dog for a walk, the dog must be on a leash, under the supervision of the owner.
